What to know before you buy

  • Files are named from your name column. The row "Linen tote - natural" downloads as Linen tote - natural.png, so you can drop files straight onto labels. Characters a file name cannot hold become dashes, repeated names get -2, -3, and without a name column files are numbered: qrcode-batch-1.png, qrcode-batch-2.png.
  • Print size. Batch PNGs are 150 to 500 px square, set by the size slider, including a white border scanners need. At 500 px the code itself prints at 300 dpi up to about 1.3 in (3.3 cm) wide. In our test, codes from 0.8 in (2 cm) to 2.5 in (6.3 cm) wide all scanned; above 1.3 in the pixels are stretched, so test-print one label before the full run.
  • No logo on batch codes. Colors and size apply to the whole batch; the logo is only added to codes made one at a time.
  • Links are the easy case. For WiFi or contact cards in bulk, each row must hold the full encoded text.

Commas, semicolons and tabs are all detected, and files saved by Excel work. For WiFi or contact codes in bulk, the row must hold the full encoded text.

Can I bulk-generate QR codes with my logo?

Not yet. Batch codes use your chosen colors and size, but the logo is only added to codes made one at a time. If a logo on every batch code matters to you, make the key codes individually, or ask us before buying.
